From the moment Bottega Veneta’s former artistic director Daniel Lee introduced the leafy grass green to the fashion-savvy world most of us felt that it somehow had to find its way into our wardrobe. Green is no doubt the colour that’s been dominating our IG feeds (guilty as charged) for quite a while now and it’s still going strong showing that it’s here to stay for many seasons ahead in all its lushness.
And while everyone’s been raving about the so called “Bottega green”, the brighter, more neon take on this colour trend, like the one we saw in the Spring/Summer 22 collections of Stella McCartney, Coperni and Rejina Pyo, is another covetable option that can literally make you stand out from the crowd.
Whether you’re a fan of colour blocking or just popping a saturated hue in a neutral look (which I admit of doing on repeat lately), there’s no doubt you’ll love playing around with this punchy green. Take my advice and don’t hesitate to go the monochromatic way with this colour and make it the centrepiece of your look like I did with this satin emerald number by The Attico.
